Ski lessons

are available both winter and summer for all levels from beginner to race training (including off piste in winter) with the emphasis on how to make ski-ing easy, effortless and harmonious to maximise enjoyment. They are available in private, group and family formats. Private lessons are for 1 - 4 people,bookable by the hour. Group lessons are for a maximum of 4 people thus ensuring lift priority and are normally of 2 hours duration. Family lessons are bookable by the hour for adults and children together. Taster lessons are also available in summer at a very competitive rate, including equipment and liftpass. Clubs and larger groups can also be catered for, either by the hour or week, including race training and carving.

Summer

If you have never been summer ski-ing, then you've got a treat in store! Ski-ing on the beautiful glacier de la Luze (one of the largest skiable glaciers in Europe). Enjoy warm weather (not guaranteed ), beautiful views , and after ski-ing activities too numerous to list. It's a great family holiday, especially if one member of the family is less keen on ski-ing - they can laze in the sun, or amuse themselves with the myriad other activities.

Winter

I work on a strictly first come, first served basis; so early booking is recommended, especially in school holiday time. The options are either private lessons (1 - 4 people) bookable by the hour, or group lessons (maximum 4 people to keep lift priority and normally 2hrs per day) Group lessons do not run automatically every week, but I will open a group lesson on request. If the group does not fill up the following times will apply:

1 person only in the group = 1 hour per day x 6 days

2 people only in the group = 1½ hours per day x 6 days

3-4 people in the group = 2 hours per day x 6 days

Family lessons can also be booked on request, but whether it's considered advisable for parents and children to ski together will depend on the individual family, and bookings will be only be taken after discussion.

Larger groups or clubs can be catered for by request, depending on bookings.

Children's lessons

can be arranged during holiday periods, and will also be in small groups to allow lift priority. since small children tire easily, and shorter lessons can often be beneficial. If longer (more than 2 hours) lessons are required we arrange a break for rest and request that parents provide refreshments or money for its purchase.

The minimum age will be 5

The idea behind teaching children the Easiski way is that all children can ski naturally, since they do not have the "mental blocks" common in adults, and through the medium of fun and games on skis this natural ability is tapped, brought out and improved. In winter Les 2 Alpes has excellent pistes in the village for kids to enjoy and in summer they can ski on the glacier

Helmets are mandatory for children under 13 years of age
