On2OFF 2012 will run concurrently with an extra Cautious 2 Confident week, to allow couples with varying skiing levels to come together
These clinics are not designed for those skiers who are already enjoying the steep and the deep at every opportunity. They are designed for those intermediate skiers who have either never tried off piste, or those who have tried but found it a struggle. The all-important strategies and techniques to allow ease of movement off piste should be achieved after an On2OFF clinic.

Of course 'off piste' is not actually the same thing as powder! It's not even necessarily the same thing as deep snow - it's any conditions off the piste. This means that you might encounter either good or bad snow, and On2OFF will give you the tools to deal with it, whatever it is. There will be core skills sessions on the piste to prepare you for the off piste where any problems of technique are exposed very quickly. New or re-found skills will then be tested off the piste.
Therefore, regardless of whether we get fresh powder snow during the week or not, we can still have a good and useful week's skiing. Of course, fresh powder is what we're hoping for!
Classes will be arranged in 2 experience groups:
Class 1 - those who have never tried off piste at all but would like to
Class 2 - those who have done a bit, but were either not very successful, or are seeking more flow and ease off piste
C2C - there will be a class for the more nervous skier to help with their confidence during this week
Les Deux Alpes has a huge off piste ski area (not counting La Grave), from almost flat to quite extreme, much of it within a very short distance of the Cretes teaching area. The dates of the On2OFF clinics have also been carefully chosen to reflect times in the winter when it usually snows a fair bit, and thus give us a good chance of some fresh powder.
There will be a maximum of 8 places for On2OFF 2012, with groups of maximum 4, and the cost will be the regular €195 per person for 6 x 2 hours coaching. Lift passes with or without insurance will be provided as part of the package. The exact make-up of the groups (max 4 people) will be left until the first day of the clinic in order to make sure that the participants 'match' each other as nearly as possible. Video correction will be a feature, as will an end of week trip, hopefully to La Grave or St Christophe.
2 places booked - max 6 available
The whole package -
half board at a newly refurbished hotel right at the bottom of the pistes; liftpass; 2 hours coaching per day; and video correctlion will cost €817. There will be a small discount for early booking (before 1st November 2011) which will bring the price down to €800.
